Project Description
The shore base contains staff welfare and workshop spaces to serve the new fish farm development on the NE of Rum.
The building is located west of the existing slipway on the south side of Loch Scresort giving direct access to a new pontoon facility.
The design replicates a simple rural agricultural form with dark grey metal cladding to roof and walls on the higher workshop building with the welfare orientated perpendicular under a dark red roof.
A new pontoon was also installed providing easy access between offshore fish cages and shore base.
