Project Description
This project provides new affordable housing of over 100 units located in the former hospital and school sites.
The design is laid out in distinct neighbourhoods with a central play park and extensive footpath network to enable pedestrian links to Lochgilphead town centre and the new hospital.
ASHP provide space heating and hot water and a simple palette of stained timber cladding, render and slate grey roof tiles provide a cohesive approach to the variety of forms and house types orientated to take advantage of extensive views southwards over Lochgilphead and Kintyre.
The last phase of single storey units provide much needed accommodation in a courtyard setting, providing a safe and quiet environment for elderly and infirm in close proximity to hospital and town.
