Project Description
Following the community buy out of the island in 2003 the practice was engaged to implement a refurbishment programme of all 42No properties.
This has been undertaken in a phased approach in a partnering arrangement with a local consortium of Kintyre contractors to take account of decant arrangements and funding enabling 28No completed properties to date.
A root and branch approach has been adopted with upgrading of the whole fabric including thermal performance, renewables and multifuel stoves to provide warm and healthy homes.
