Project Description
This project involved the demolition and rebuilding of a remote cottage for holiday use on the shoreline of Ardminish Bay facing Kintyre.
Open plan kitchen dining with living space above are sandwiched between natural stone clad bedroom wings, with the master bedroom benefiting from a fully glazed gable facing east for the morning sun rising over Kintyre.
Drystone walls follow boundaries of sea and the fields that surround the cottage to allow it to rest and become part of the island landscape.
